An early farewell at Snowpark Alta Badia
11.03.2020

Snowpark Alta Badia closes its gates earlier than expected – nevertheless, we’re looking back on a rad winter season with a lot of fun and energy.

Just like other regions and provinces of Italy, Alta Badia decided to close all facilities including the Snowpark Alta Badia for safety reasons. After all the security and health of all our guests is what matters most. Of course, that’s an unexpected situation, but we respect and support this decision.

Despite the early end of the season, we had a great winter including rad sessions, sunny rides in the Dolomites and heaps of fun all over the mountain. In retrospect, countless steezy tricks, loads of airtime and creative laps made this winter a special one for all of us.

Talking about specials… The highlight of the season certainly was the Rookie Battle Alta Badia. Under perfect bluebird conditions, the rookies showed what they got at the QParks Tour Stop and made a huge impression. The young guns truly were on fire! Check out the detailed recap of the event here.

Here we would like to show you a Vimeo video.

Last but not least, there’s nothing left but saying thank you! First of all, we want to give props to all riders who dropped by more than once. It was an honor shredding with you! But what’s a park without his crew… That’s why we also want to give a big shoutout to our shapecrew. They made sure that the park was in perfect shape until the very last day, including a complete rebuild of the park on the very last weekend of the season...

Well, but now the time has come to say “arriverderci”. We wish you a great summer with sweet skate, surf or bike sessions and we’re looking forward to seeing you guys again next winter at Snowpark Alta Badia, in the Funcross or in the Funslope!
